On the second half of the event, Walker, Tomato and DU Manille show off their new collections via a fashion show.
Here are some of clothes from various brands and independent fashion designers. (I'm sorry guys I can't remember on which collection they belong to).
The speakers were all well-known leaders in their respective industries. They were all good.
and very knowledgeable.
Two of my favorite speakers were Benjo Billones and Jean Magboo.
BENJO BILLONES

- SPARK Magazine Contributing editor · Aug 2010 to Aug 2011
- DU Manille Creative Director/Owner · Aug 2010 to present
- Tomato In-house Fashion Stylist . Present
He is a magazine editor, fashion stylist, photographer and blogger. His topic is about "Fabloading Fashion in the New Adscape". He talked about his experience as an Associate Editor of 5 magazines and shared tips on how to get into fashion/magazine industry. My fave line from him is
"Be seen. Attend events. And yes, social climb."
Well, It's true. Networks are very important if you want to enter Fashion Industry. You have to attend different events, from small to high-end events. You need to know 'WHO'S WHO' 's in the industry you are in.The bottom line is SOCIALIZE.
JEAN MAGBOO
She is the Corp. Comm Head of Sulit.com.ph , the leading online classified ads and buy and sell website in the Philippines. She also manages the Sulit Real State, website's newest vertical. Her topic is 'Click to open! The rise of Online Selling and Advertising'. She talked about how Sulit.com began and the people behind it. Aside from that, she also shared her experience as Corp. Comm head of the website.
As you can see, Ms. Jean is very pretty. I thought she's one of our the models. hehehe. I love her outfit. She was once featured in Cosmo.ph. Hmm, BEAUTY and BRAIN :))
There was an intermission number performed by Ms. Anna Jean Fernandez and my former classmate, Jake Jacinto. I love Kuya Jake's version of By Chance (You and I). Kiliigg much! ^_^ Take a look!
The Second part of the event was held right after the 'seminar'. It was an Awarding Ceremony for Negros Nevigation and Superferry's contest 'Pinoy Byaheng Barko', Business Mirror, Frenzy Condom and Filipinay's contests.
The day won't be complete without 'Photo Moments', isn't it? :))
Me with the models. (Thanks to my friend Ansherina for taking the photos).
