Makeup Review Part 1: Krave Minerale Correct & Conceal

I love skin care products and yes I do love cosmetics but I'm not much of a makeup person. I do visit makeup blogs but I'm not fond of watching makeup tutorials on Youtube. In short, I'm a late bloomer when in comes to makeup - but hey!  I'm starting to learn how to do it. 

As a start, Ms. Dee of Skye Avenue gave me a chance to review some of their on-hand items such as Krave Minerale Correct & Conceal (concealer),  Krave Minerale Oil Eliminator & Skin Hydrator (primer & finishing veil) , Krave Satin Sheer in Eclairs (Eyeshadow) and Krave Minerale Moisturizing Lip Shimmer in Chili Red.

Okay. Let's start with my Makeup Review Part 1: Krave Minerale Correct & Conceal. 


Description: Hate spots? Correct & conceal them up completely and get rid of them instantly. It does not only erase spots but it also helps to soothe and repair the skin with the addition of Levomenol, Allantoin, Golden Jojoba Oil and ProVitamin B5.

We use only the highest botanicals, natural plant waxes, oils and pure mineral pigments to create a luxurious, promising mineral stick concealer. Correct & Conceal stick has a "drier" texture when applied, making it "stick"' to the area of facial imperfection.

Application:  Dab several dots of concealer to the desired area then use the pad of your middle finger to tap it in. Then dust your face with any of our loose mineral foundation to cover blemishes & fine lines.

My Experience: I used a concealer before, but unfortunately I discontinue using it because I found it [applying concealer] time consuming. I have a good skin back then so for me ,a pressed powder is enough.

I applied the concealer as directed. The first thing I noticed was the 'grainy' thing on it. I dunno what those grains are but I'm not comfortable with it. I dabbed a concealer 3 times on my brown spots and under my eyes.

Okay. I know my eyebags sucks and I love how Krave Minerale Correct & Conceal covers them. Also, it makes my brown spots less visible and gave my skin a natural glow.

Likes:

• Size -its lip balm packaging makes it easier to carry around. You know what I mean - the tipid space.
• Easy to apply
• Dry texture
• Does a good job at covering eyebags and minor imperfections.
• Mineral ingredients makes it hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic
• Brightens complexion
• Cover up uneven skin tone
• Affordable

Dislikes:

• Grainy particles
• Can't cover major imperfections
• No direction/description on the packaging

Would I recommend it? Yes!

Will I keep using this product? Yes!
