Review: Watsons' Green Tea Antioxidant Deep Cleansing Mud

Here's another Watsons product on my beauty list -  Watsons Green Tea Antioxidant  Deep Cleansing Mud.  Like I said in my last skin care review,  I am a certified Watsons Shopper and I love hauling beauty products and this one is just.. SUPERB!

Description: Watsons Green Tea Antioxidant  Deep Cleansing Mud contains essence extracted from Japanese green tea, a powerful antioxidant, which helps protect skin from environmental damage and the signs of aging.  This blackish green cleansing mud is rich in organic and mineral elements. It draws impurities out  from the pores, absorbs excess oils while equalizing oiliness and moisturizing skin. The skin is soft, refreshed and revived after use.

Directions: After facial cleansing, apply evenly on face with fingertips
( avoiding eye and lip areas). Wait for 10 minutes and then rinse off with warm water. For best result, use cleansing mud one to two times per week.

Key Ingredient:  Camelia Sinensis Extract

Size: 300g

Ideal buyer: Ideal for all skin type

Prize: Php 54.00

My Experience: The first time I saw this item, I really can't believe that it only cost 54.00! It's like.. Whoa! It is far cheaper than the other deep cleansing mud I used before.

When I got home, I cleaned my face and applied the mud as directed. The scent is sooo refreshing! and I loved it! Also, I didn't feel any burning sensation, itching or any discomfort. You can apply the product as thin or as thick as you want.

This is how it looks like when applied.

*kinda scary?! haha*

After a few minutes, I rinsed my face with lukewarm water. Voila! My skin feels so soft and replenished afterwards.

On my 2nd and 3rd use, I left the mud on my face for about an hour and nothing bad happened.  :) I'm so lucky to found my HG facial mud mask! Thanks a lot Watsons.. again, please do not discontinue this one (0_0)

  2. Wee! I'm happy it suits your skin type. This product is really effective. Have you tried their toner and cleanser?

  3. Not yet! I usually use 'stronger' products as my toner and cleanser because my blackheads and other imperfections are quite stubborn. Do you recommend the green tea toner and cleanser for someone with deep-seated blackheads and combination skin?

  4. Aw.. sad to say I haven't tried them yet. Haha 'coz like you, I also use stronger products as my toner and cleanser.  BTW, their toner and cleanser costs higher than this facial mud mask . Uhm, maybe I'll try them soon :)

  7. I was interested at first but when i saw the last part of your blog, you said that it has a lot of chemical contents. I think i'll just go with the natural, organi or DIY facial masks. We can also add fruits with antioxidant for an amazing effect in our health and skin. Normally i get antioxidant from my supplement http://products.mercola.com/astaxanthin but I want to try it the natural way by means of fruits.

  10. Hello Innaninna! I think yes, because it contains Japanese Green Tea which is a great antioxidant.
